They did cover the life cycle of a frog 

They had a lesson about what is a cycle.

Prior Knowledge (What knowledge are you building on?)

The students will sit on the carpet. The teacher will interduce the lesson by asking questions about the egg.

who likes to eat eggs? From where do we get eggs? (talk about the cover of the egg)

 

Talk about the chicken cycle. What do we mean when we say a cycle?

Explain the life cycle of the chicken.

 

Play a video about the life cycle of a chicken.

Activities: (the teacher will demonstrate the activities)

Group 1: cut and past the stages of the life cycle of a chicken.

 

Group 2: trace the chicken, through dot to dot worksheet.

 

Group 3: color the chicken by number

 

Group 4: create a chick worksheet

 

Group 5: create a chicken worksheet

Lesson Objectives:

By the end of the lesson, the students will know the life cycle of a chicken. From where we get the eggs.

I will be assessing their understanding by checking their work. Asking question at the end of the class.

In this lesson, I am working on my Managing Learning, as I will be sure that all the resource is manageable for me and for the students.
