What the plants need to grow.

Lesson Activities: (What will students do in the lesson?)

Watch a video on the life cycle of the plant. We will discuss the different stages-what each stage is called.

The teacher will draw the life cycle of the plant on the Smartboard, with the help of the students.

​​

The teacher will let the students play an ICT game that will let them explore the concept. The game will ask the students to order the stages of the plant cycle.

Differentiated group:

​​

Low \ Middle: Learners will be given pictures of the life cycle of the plant. They will color in, cut out and stick the life cycle in order. 

 

High: Learners will be given pictures of the life cycle of the plant. They will color in, and they will label the life cycle 

Lesson Objectives:

The students will be able to describe the growth and changes in the plants that take place.

Evaluation / Assessment: (How will you know your students have achieved the goal?)

I will be observing the students while playing the ICT game and correct their misunderstanding or give more explanation if needed.

The teacher will observe the students during their independent work time, she will check their understanding\work while the students will share their work.
